Beams are horizontal members of a structure that are slender and support loads applied perpendicular to their longitudinal axis
- SIMPLY SUPPORTED BEAM : It is a beam supported freely at the two ends of walls or column.
- OVERHANGING BEAMS : In overhanging beam, its end extends beyond the wall or column support.
- CANTILEVER BEAMS : It is fixed in wall or column in one end and the other end is free.
- FIXED BEAMS : In this beam, both ends of the beam are rigidly fixed in to the supports.
- PROPED CANTILEVER BEAMS : One end is fixed and other end is hinged.
- CONTINUOUS BEAM : It is supported on more than two supports.
